Preparation & Aftercare Instructions for Zena Algae Peel Treatments

The Zena Algae Peel is a skin treatment that uses natural algae-based ingredients to exfoliate, rejuvenate, and improve skin texture. It promotes new cell growth and helps address fine lines, acne scars, hyperpigmentation, and dullness.

This peel offers a gentler alternative to chemical peels, with a shorter recovery time and minimal irritation, as it stimulates skin regeneration while nourishing and hydrating the skin. Flaking may occur for a few days post-treatment as healthier skin emerges.

To ensure the best results and a smooth recovery, please follow these preparation and aftercare instructions for the days following your treatment:

Day of the Zena Algae Peel Procedure:

On the day of the treatment, do not wash your face, use facial care products, or perform any other procedures on your skin.

First 12-24 Hours:

You may experience some redness for the first 12-24 hours. You may also feel the sensation of the needles on your face for up to 30 hours, until they completely dissolve.

Day After the Procedure:

The morning after the treatment, wash your face with water and apply Zena Post Treatment Gel. Repeat the same routine in the evening. Avoid putting your face directly under a hot shower spray. Do not use steam rooms, Jacuzzis, or saunas, and refrain from swimming.

3-7 Days of Skin Flaking:

It is normal for your skin to flake for 3-7 days following the treatment. Please do not pick or pull at any loose skin, as this can lead to hyperpigmentation or scarring.

2-7 Days After the Procedure:

For a deeper peeling effect, avoid using creams, gels, lotions, or any other facial care products for 2-7 days following the procedure.

Protect your skin by avoiding direct sun exposure and excessive heat for at least 7 days, as overheating and UV exposure can cause hyperpigmentation or skin damage. If you must be in the sun, apply SPF 50+ sunscreen frequently.
